M
arch 2019 was a busy month for the Nannup Car
Nuts with members of our group par• cipa• ng in two
classic car runs. The fi rst run was in conjunc• on with the
Busselton Veteran Car Club which included a morning coff ee
stop at Donnybrook and lunch at the Dardanup Tavern. The
inset photograph shows some of the par• cipa• ng Nannup
vehicles parked in Dardanup at lunch • me. The second run
was the fi rst of our last Sunday of the month drive over
to Greenbushes with lunch at the Shamrock Hotel. It was
great to see Nannup Car Nuts vehicles as well as Busselton
Veteran Car Club members par• cipa• ng in this enjoyable
drive which included sightseeing at the Greenbushes Pool
and Boardwalk at the Norm Lindsay Reserve. The next
Nannup Car Nuts run will be on Sunday 28th April 2019
over to Manjimup through all sealed back roads to a
‘unique’ place for lunch. All our runs start at the Nannup
Foreshore car park mee• ng at 10.00 am for BYO morning
tea/coff ee then proceeding in convoy on sealed roads to a
luncheon des• na• on with all par• cipants given a detailed
route sheet to follow. There is no charge to par• cipate in
any of our runs. As detailed in last month’s Telegraph ar• cle
our runs are open to all sorts of vehicles whether they be
on club concessional licence, fully licenced more modern
motor vehicles, motor cycles, even trucks and locals as well
as people from outside our district and other car clubs are
most welcome to join us on these leisurely social runs.
For further informa• on about our classic car group or
those wishing to par• cipate in any of our runs please
