O

n the evening of March 23rd 
2019, the WA Dairy Industry 

Associa• on Awards were held at the 
Co• esloe Golf Club, Perth. Nannup’s 
Cambray Cheese were honoured to 
be awarded the top award of Grand 
Champion Dairy product for their 
Cambray Farmhouse Gold. This is a 
mature sheep milk cheese aged for 
18 months. This cheese also won gold 
and ‘Champion non-bovine’, which 
meant it went up against all of the 
other categories including cheese, 
milk and ice cream and took out the 
top award. 
Cambray Cheese entered 5 cheeses in 
total and came away with three Gold 
Awards for their Farmhouse, Cumin 
Gouda and Blackwood Blue and also 
two Silver Awards for their Cheddar 

and Friese• e. 
However, 
it 

was 

once 

again 

Cambray’s 
Farmhouse 
Gold 

that 

took out the 
major gong.
What we are 
most proud 
about

is 

that 

it 

shows 

the 

true spirit of our small family business. 
Every single person at Cambray plays 
an important role in the crea• on of 
this 18 month old sheep cheese, and 

we credit the ongoing  success of this 
cheese to our team.
