Get Ready Nannup, the
Black Dog Ride's iconic
annual 1 Dayer is coming
back to Nannup! The annual
1 Dayer aims to start a
na• onal conversa• on about
depression
and
suicide
preven• on. Help us get the
country talking and join the
local 1 Dayer on 17th March
2019.
Nannup has featured as
the morning tea stop for
the South West 1 Dayer
ride for the past 9 years.
This year’s ride will start in Busselton, travel through
Nannup, Greenbushes and Kirup, with the fi nal park up in
Donnybrook. Up to 350 riders will arrive in Nannup for
the tradi• onal morning tea stop with the bikes, worth
many millions of dollars, parked up in Brockman St from
11.00am.
Nannup Community Resource Centre has been involved
with the South West ride since 2012 and is proud to
con• nue its support of the ride and its mental health
messages again this year.
The riders turn out with their best gear and contribute
signifi cantly to raising awareness for the Black Dog cause,
which is built on mental health, suicide preven• on and
depression.
The local Nannup community and businesses have been
widely acclaimed by the organisers for the wonderful
support given to the event.
Nannup has always greeted the riders warmly so let’s pop
down to Brockman Street to welcome the riders into town
and admire their bikes at 11.00am on Sunday 19th March
2019.
If you, or someone you care about, needs support,
telephone support (24/7) is available through LifeLine on
13 11 14 or Suicide Call Back Service on 1300 659 467.
