he Nannup Car Nuts is a locally based group of people 
who own Classic Vehicles that are more than twenty 

fi ve years old and recently had a mee• ng to set out our 
car runs programme for their Calendar Of Events for 2019. 
It may surprise people that there is upwards of forty of 
these veteran vehicles that fall into this category around 
the Nannup district . In an endeavour to li•  the profi le 
of our group and get more of these classic car owners to 
u• lise their vehicles it was agreed at the mee• ng to have 
a monthly vehicle run on the last Sunday of each month 
commencing the 31st March 2019 . The plan is to meet at 
the same star• ng place each month this being the Nannup 
Foreshore car park at 10.00 am for BYO morning tea/
coff ee before doing a run on all sealed roads to a diff erent 
country town each month for lunch . These runs will be 
open to not only vehicles on club concessional licence , 
but also for fully licenced more modern motor vehicles 
, motor cycles , even trucks , and locals as well as people 
from outside our district and other car clubs would be  
most welcome to join in these social runs with our group . 
All runs will be on sealed roads and a route sheet showing 
the des• na• on would be sent out to each owner of the 
vehicles wishing to par• cipate prior to each monthly run 
.  The Nannup Car Nuts also do a monthly mid week run 
on the fi rst Thursday of each month in conjunc• on with 
the Busselton Veteran Car Club and again people are very 
welcome to join in these too . For further informa• on 
about our group or those wishing to par• cipate in any of

their community and support the vital work of Black Dog 
Ride.

There are two offi

  cial Black Dog Rides each year:

The 1 Dayer, a short one day ride in over three dozen 
regions of Australia which draws thousands of 
motorcycles riders together for one cause - riding to 
raise awareness of depression and suicide preven• on

• 

A long distance ride, usually around 3,000kms or one 
weeks' dura• on (not including trip home) which aims 
to engage regional communi• es to raise awareness of 
depression and suicide preven• on

• 

Joining us on a Black Dog Ride is an enjoyable and 
meaningful way to get involved with the Black Dog Ride 
community and assist with Black Dog Ride's suicide 
preven• on ac• vi• es.
