n Tuesday 19th February, the Nannup CRC hosted a 
Business Sundowner for Nannup business people in the 

gardens of Melo Velo. Around 35 business representa• ves 
a• ended the Sundowner networking with other business 
operators. Melo Velo provided some sumptuous nibbles 
and treats, lovingly prepared by Chef Mark. Guest speakers, 
Magdaleen from Melo Velo & Leanne from Wild Eye Press, 
spoke to a• endees about what originally a• racted them to 
set up businesses in Nannup, and what trends they thought 
were emerging as opportuni• es for business owners in the 
area. Feedback from the evening was very suppor• ve with 
requests for similar events to be held in the future. The 
Nannup CRC has already commenced planning for the next 
business networking event.
