Nannup Arts Update
Nannup Arts will be holding an exhibi• on in the
Supper Room Gallery during the forthcoming
Nannup Music Fes• val (28 Feb – 2nd March
2020). And the theme of the exhibi• on? You
guessed it! Music.
The • tle of the exhibi• on will be If Music be
the Food of Love, play on.
Of course that is one of William Shakespeare’s
most famous lines. It is to be found in the
opening scene of his play Twel• h Night. Duke
Orsino of Illyria, presiding over the merry,
mixed-up world of Twel• h Night, opens the
play with that fes• ve sen• ment. Music? Food?
Love? What could be more inspira• onal?
Nannup Arts (formerly Nannup Arts Council)
would like to invite all ar• sts in the region
to submit works interpre• ng the theme of
Music for this exhibi• on which will add to the
colour and excitement of the music fes• val.
Awards will be presented for the best art
works displayed. For further informa• on –
please email NA Secretary Andrea Campbell at

Used ink cartridges can be placed in the Planet Ark recycling
box at the Nannup Community Resource Centre.
All ink & toner cartridges from printers, photocopiers and fax
machines can be dropped off for recycling.
The Nannup CRC, with support from local businesses and individuals, has diverted 38.2kg of
printer ink cartridges from landfi ll. The cartridges were recycled through “Close the Loop” into
useable items such as outdoor furniture.
WE want to do even better this year. Drop your empty ink cartridges at:
10, Warren Road, Nannup.
This recycling program is a ‘zero waste to landfi ll’ initiative.’
