ver the non classic car run period of December 
and January it was great to have three diff erent 

people in Nannup promise to get their classic pride 
and joys out of their garages and join our group for 
the fi rst • me on future social car cruises. The break 
over the fes• ve season must have invigorated Nannup 
Car Nuts people as many enquiries have been coming 
in not only from the Nannup district but also from 
Busselton, Dunsborough, Australind, Boyup Brook and 
Augusta as to when our next car run is on. Our fi rst car 
run for the 2020 year will be on Sunday 23rd February 
and in line with our mo• o of each car run to be 
“diff erent" this one will be via Witchcliff e for morning 
coff ee then a “seachange and historical" sightseeing 
cruise in convoy down to the Augusta Hotel for lunch. 
As the route sheet for this run was not fi nalised before 
the cut off  date for this ar• cle people who are on the 
Nannup Car Nuts email list and mailing will be no• fi ed in 
due course. For those people thinking of joining us on this 
friendly car run they are most welcome to contact Neville

As a lot of people ask me what the Nannup Car Nuts are 
about here is the background. The Nannup Car Nuts is 
not a club just a friendly group of people who enjoy older 

cars and going on sociable car runs to diff erent des• na• ons 
in the south west for lunch each month. Most people in our 
group are members of the Busselton branch of the Veteran 
Car Club of WA. By being a member of this associa• on all 
our car runs are fully sanc• oned for those people who 
have their older vehicles on club concessional licence and 
to protect their vehicle insurance. All our car runs start off  
with a group mee• ng spot for BYO morning tea or coff ee 
followed by the car cruise on all sealed roads through the 
scenic countryside to a pre-booked luncheon des• na• on 
where par• cipants pay for their own lunch and drinks. 
There is no entry fee to join us on our car runs and all 
par• cipants are provided with a route sheet for the day's 
car run. Although vehicles par• cipa• ng are preferred to 
be manufactured at least 25 years ago more modern cars 
would also be most welcome to join us on these scenic 
social runs. As always there is an open invita• on to people 
thinking about joining us on any of these casual car runs, so 
why not come along and enjoy a casual car cruise with our 
expanding sociable Nannup Car Nuts group.
